With grave sadness we announce the passing of San Francisco born violinist Lisa S. Lhee, who joined her Lord on August 29, 2025 after a long battle with illness. Lisa was a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Konservatorium Bern in Switzerland. She performed as a soloist with several orchestras in South Korea, Europe, and North America, before settling down in the North Bay area where she freelanced as an orchestral musician. She was survived by her husband, violinist Jay Zhong, her mother Kathy Lhee and her brother Brian Lhee. She was with us for an unforgettable 54 years.
